It's a poor day for driving with sections of Hwy 1 closed and a windchill of -28ºC. I didn't pay much attention to what I was capturing, but like the balance of yellow.
Learning to see, and realizing that you only have a few seconds to get that shot. If you anticipate taking a photo, have the camera next to you, ready to go. Note also that there was no traffic for at least a kilometre or two behind me, so I could slow down considerably without having to pull over.

How on earth did you get such a clear shot straight ahead on the highway while driving?
