Month 9 in Review - September

Just a month ago I started to become curious: could I possibly freelance a little on the side if I were to get more serious about photography?  Interestingly enough, on September 1 an opportunity presented iteself and I submitted some landscape photos, two of which were selected for an exhibit at a prominent location.  The proof for the canvas prints (which will be a whopping 8 feet by 2 feet) was sent to me on the 12th, so I expect to get more details on the displays soon.  It's a start.

Some stats for September:
  • Favourite photo: Day 246 - Bow Lake - perfect conditions for photography
  • Least favourite photo: Day 247 - YYC
  • Most challenging photo to take: Day 266 - Fireworks on Waikiki
  • Most creative photo: Day 267 - Sunset at Waikiki
  • Most used Photoshop edits: crop, sponge (saturate)
  • Number of photos taken this month: ~1,760
  • Number of days on which I wouldn't have taken a photo if I didn't have to for this: 17/30
  • How I feel about this project: Getting addicted. Maybe next year's 365 can become 365 days of stunning (i.e., not stuff on my desk) photos.
Which is your favourite photo from September?
