It's been another nice surprise this month when I found out that outdoor images are needed for a resource we all use for our Canadian Rockies adventures. I'll find out in a couple of weeks whether any of my images get chosen, but I'm thinking I may stand a chance at my first paid gig since I got my DSLR. Prior to this I've only ever received actual money (as opposed to goods and/or credits) for an image of a New York skyscraper that sold through Emporis for $80 at the time (about a decade ago). Who knows what January will bring.
Some stats for December:
- Favourite photo: Day 360 - Hall of the Doges at the Davenport Hotel
- Least favourite photo: Day 348 - Little White Church
- Most challenging photo to take: Day 344 - Lunar Eclipse
- Most creative photo: Day 344 - Lunar Eclipse
- Most used Photoshop edits: crop, sponge (saturate)
- Number of photos taken this month: ~580
- Number of days on which I wouldn't have taken a photo if I didn't have to for this: 19
- How I feel about this project: Just one more day and I'll have achieved my goal of one photo for every day of the year.
